Founded in 1855 by American Missionaries from Southern Baptist Convention in the United States, Baptist Academy, Lagos is a foremost institution of learning in Nigeria.
The Old Students Association, BAOSA, provides a platform for all old students of the school to relate towards the common good of the school, the association and both the old and current students.

The 2023 National Convention of the Baptist Academy Old Students Association was held on Saturday 25th March 2023.
It was an elective convention, and the following are the members of the National Executive Council of the association for the tenure of March 2023 to March 2025.
Mr. Akin Fatunke – President
Mr. Forabafo Jowata-Paul – Deputy President
Mr. Tunji Akingbade – General Secretary
Mr. Adebayo Adenekan – Assistant General Secretary
Mr. Sheyi Olanrewaju – Treasurer
Mr. Rotimi Gansallo – Financial Secretary
Mr. Olubanji Holmes – Communication Officer
Mr. Kehinde Sanyaolu – Assistant Communication Officer
Mr. Lanre Idowu – Immediate Past President
The nominations of Dr. John Momoh and Mr. Ademola Adebise into the Board of Trustees of the association pursuant to Article 28(b) of the BAOSA constitution were approved by the convention, this brings the total number of members of the Board of Trustees of the association to 10. Mr. Alex Okoh, Mr. Dele Dada, and Dr. Tarilabo Aganaba, were appointed as Patrons of the association pursuant to Article 7.4(b) of the BAOSA constitution by the convention.
Mr. Dotun Ojejinmi was retained as an Auditor while Mr. Ademola Aladesuyi was appointed as the second Auditor of the association in compliance with Article 13(a) of the BAOSA constitution. Mr. Aladesuyi replaced Mr. Demola Adebise who served the association meritoriously for many years as an Auditor.
