BAOSA

Baptist Academy Old Students Association provides a platform for all Baptacads to foster stronger ties across all generations of old students.

Alumni of Baptist Academy all belong to the Baptist Academy Old Students Association, BAOSA.

BAOSA had been active in the 1960’s and 1970’s but sometime later its activities declined until the defunct ’70-’85 subgroup was established to resuscitate the activities of BAOSA National, uniting the older and younger generations.

BAOSA now has several chapters around the world including FCT Abuja, United Kingdom, USA and the Americas etc.

Baptist Academy Old Students Association (BAOSA) on Saturday, 27th March 2021 for the first time adopted the electronic voting system for the conduct of elections of members into the National Executive Council of the association. It was a historic moment as members of the association in the diaspora were able to take part in the process for the very first time in the history of the association.

It was also the first time a female member, Sade Demuren, got elected as a member of the National Executive Council of BAOSA.

The election was part of the 2021 Annual General Convention of the association.
